Tlotepe is one of the five Mimixcoa born from Iztac-Chalchiuhtlicue in a cave. After spending four days in the water, he was suckled by Mecitli and ordered by the Sun to serve him. When discovered by the 400 Mimixcoa, Tlotepe hid in the mount, and he was one of the five who defeated the 400 to serve the Sun Tonatiuh.
