Cuauhtlicoauh is one of the five Mimixcoa born from Iztac-Chalchiuhtlicue in a cave. After spending four days in the water, he was suckled by Mecitli and ordered by the Sun to serve him. When discovered by the 400 Mimixcoa, Cuauhtlicoauh took shelter in a tree, and he was one of the five who defeated the 400 to serve the Sun Tonatiuh.
