Sula Thambawa was a son of Maha Thado Yarzar, the legendary King of Tagaung Kingdom. He was the father of Queen Panhtwar through his union with Sanda Muhki, a rakshasi woman from Lanka Dipa. He had a twin brother named Maha Thamawa.
