The local wild huntsman of the Giant Mountains in Silesia, whose name means "night hunter" in German. He relentlessly chases the Rüttelweiber, little women clad in moss, who can only escape him by resting on properly blessed tree stumps. He represents a regional manifestation of the Wild Hunt tradition.
