Kiyohime, also known as Kiyo, is a character in Japanese folklore from the story of Anchin and Kiyohime. After being rejected by the Buddhist monk Anchin, she chased after him and transformed into a serpent in a rage. She ultimately killed him in a bell where he had hidden in the Dōjō-ji temple.
