Yayauhqui-Tezcatlipoca, also known as Black Tezcatlipoca, is a deity who creates women and is possibly identified with Mixcoatl. According to one myth, he is the enemy who in his invocation of Mixcoatl impregnates Chimalma. After the destruction of the earth by water, he and Quetzalcoatl traveled through subterranean paths to lift up the fallen heavens, and their path was marked by the Milky Way.
