Otomitl was the youngest son (xocoyotl) among the six giant children of Tlaltecuhtli and Iztac-Mixcoatl, counted among the Quinametzin according to the Codex Mendieta. He always lived in mountains near Mexico and thrived in rich populations such as Tollan, Xilotepec, and Otompan.
