Sydyk was a Phoenician deity whose name means 'Righteousness' and was sometimes equated with Jupiter. According to Phoenician author Sanchuniathon, Sydyk first fathered seven sons equated with the Greek Cabeiri or Dioscuri with no mother named, and then afterwards fathered an eighth son, Eshmun, by one of the seven Titanides.
