Sváva is a valkyrie and the daughter of King Eylimi. She often protected Helgi in battles and was described as particularly fair, leading a band of 27 valkyries. She was betrothed to and deeply loved Helgi, remaining a valkyrie even after their marriage, and is said to have been reincarnated with him after his death.
