The Sons of Aditi are eight deities born from the goddess Aditi. Seven of them were presented to the Gods, while Mārtanda was cast away. The Taittirîya Aranyaka names them as Mitra, Varuna, Dhâtṛi, Aryaman, Amsha, Bhaga, Indra and Vivasvat.
