Sina-tae-o-i-lagi is a goddess in Samoan mythology, daughter of Tagaloa-lagi, who resides in heaven. She initially rejects Tafaʻi and his brother when they appear as ugly old men, but later becomes distraught upon seeing their true appearance and chases after them. She eventually marries Tafaʻi and bears La, the sun, who later goes to live with her in the sky.
