Silver is the eponymous antagonist of the Song of Silver, one of the myths belonging to the Cycle of Kumarbi. He is a half-human son of Kumarbi who temporarily became the king of gods. At one point he brings the sun and moon gods down from heaven and threatens them, forcing them to plead for release because without them he would have to reign in darkness.
