Saw Nan Mu is a Burmese nat who became a divine being or nymph after Śakra transformed her as a reward for donating her magical arts. She is unique among Burmese nats as the only one who became a nat without experiencing death. She possessed magical powers that allowed her to stop King Alaungsithu's royal barge and manifest herself before him, and was eventually granted spiritual possession of the Pale region and Ponetaung Ponenya region.
