Saint Cecilia is a Christian saint whose remains were reportedly incorrupt when excavated in 1599. A church in Trastevere, Rome, was built on the site believed to be her house, with the original construction dating to the fourth century. Pope Paschal I had remains attributed to her buried in the church during the ninth century.
