Pramlocha is an apsara in Hindu mythology, described as a beautiful celestial damsel. She was recruited by Indra to disturb the penance of the rishi Kandu because she was proud of her beauty and youth, bearing a slender waist and attractive breasts. She successfully seduced Kandu and stayed with him for nine hundred and seven years, six months and three days, ultimately giving birth to Marisha after being banished.
