Macuilcozcacuahtli ('5 vulture') is one of the five Ahuiateteo deities from Aztec and other central Mexican pre-Columbian mythological traditions who symbolized excess, over-indulgence and the attendant punishments and consequences thereof. This deity bore the name of a specific day in the tōnalpōhualli where the day coefficient of five had overtones associated with excess and loss of control.
