Libbiel

angelic sky Hebrew single tradition · 1

Libbiel, meaning "God is my heart," was the original name of the angel Raphael. He commanded a band of angels who, unlike other groups, heeded his warning and spoke favorably of creating man. Thereupon God changed the Archangel Libbiel's name to Raphael, the Rescuer, because his Host of Angels had been rescued by his sage advice.
