Hlaðguðr svanhvít, whose name means "swan-white," is a valkyrie and daughter of King Hlödvér. She was found spinning linen on the shore of lake Úlfsjár with swan's garments nearby, and lived with the brother Slagfiðr for seven winters before flying off to battle and not returning.
