Christophoros, originally named Reprebos, was a Cynocephalus (dog-headed man) from a cannibal tribe who converted to Christianity after being granted the gift of language by God. He performed miracles including causing his staff to blossom, producing bread with angelic help, and surviving torture and fire unharmed. He converted many to Christianity including Roman soldiers and sex workers sent to tempt him, ultimately becoming a Christian martyr under emperor Decius.
