Yangar, also known as Jimmy Clements or King Billy, was a Gundagai Aboriginal elder. He attended the 1927 opening of the new Federal Parliament House in Canberra and respectfully saluted the Duke and Duchess of York. He was formally presented to the royal couple as a prominent citizen of Australia.
