Yakṣiṇī is one of the seven Dhātunāthās goddesses stationed beneath the chariot step in the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa. These deities consume the seven dhātus (essential ingredients) of enemies' bodies and are bestowers of eight Siddhis beginning with Aṇimā. She is also listed among goddesses to be worshipped in the six directions in the Agni Purāṇa and appears in Tantric enumerations of yoginī goddesses.
