Virūḍhaka

Virūḍhaka is one of the four guardians of the world (lokapāla), also known as one of the Four Heavenly Kings. He serves as the Guardian of the South and rules over the kumbhāṇḍas and pretas. He is a deva who protects the southern direction of the Sahā world.
