Uluu Khoro

Uluu Khoro is an old man who rode a bull and is regarded as the progenitor of the Khoro people in Yakut folklore. He led his people from a reportedly warm homeland northward across the Lena Plateau, during which he named the Amga and Tatta Rivers. Upon reaching the alas Myuryu near the Middle Lena, the Khorolors celebrated the yhyakh festival under his guidance.
