Tia is the Haida goddess of peaceful death and the counterpart of Ta'xet, forming a duality with him. Unlike Ta'xet who takes souls without warning, Tia leaves signs before she takes her victims. She represents the peaceful aspect of death in contrast to Ta'xet's violent nature.
