Tanfana

Tanfana was a goddess worshipped by the Marsi people, to whom a temple was dedicated. According to Tacitus, the Marsi held a festival near her temple, during which Germanicus led forces that massacred the celebrants. There is no undisputed testimony of this goddess besides the passage in Tacitus.
