The Sun-father is a deity created by Awonawilona when Awonawilona chose to embody the sun. The Sun-father's creation led to the formation of several other gods. In some versions of the myth, the Sun-father is convinced by Poshaiyankya to send the Ahayuta to bring womb dwellers into the light.
