Shentu

Shentu is one of the original door gods of Chinese tradition who protected households by the Han dynasty. His name or image was painted into peachwood and attached to doors. He was eventually replaced by the deified Tang generals Qin Shubao and Yuchi Gong as the primary door guardian.
