Pedro Arbues

Pedro Arbues was a Spanish canon and Inquisitor who died in 1485. After his death, popular belief attributed miraculous powers to him, and a Jewess reportedly used his blood-stained handkerchief to save herself. He was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius IX in 1867.
