Parswanath is a Jain tirthankara depicted seated cross-legged in the principal temple on Abu mountain. He is the central object of worship, with numerous images of him occupying the temple cells and sculptured scenes from his life adorning the walls. As a tirthankara, he is regarded as a spiritual teacher who guides souls toward liberation.
