Metropolitan of Pentapolis and Wonderworker of Aegina, Nectarios of Aegina is one of the most renowned Greek saints, venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Church. He was glorified as a saint on 20 April 1961 by Patriarch Athenagoras I of Constantinople. His feast day is celebrated every year on 9 November.
