Nebro, whose name means 'rebel,' is called an angel in the apocryphal Gospel of Judas and is identified with Yaldabaoth. He comes from heaven and is described as one of twelve angels who came into being to rule over chaos and the underworld, with his face flashing with fire and his appearance defiled with blood. He creates six angels in addition to the angel Saklas to be his assistants.
