Myaukhpet Shinma, meaning 'Lady of the North', is one of the 37 nats in the Burmese pantheon. She is the nat representation of the wet nurse of King Tabinshwehti, a native of North Kadu who died in childbirth. She is often depicted on her knees or reclining on a throne, right hand on her bosom, left hand on her knee, wearing royal robes, and can appear as either a young woman or in elderly form.
