Manathu (or Manāt) was a South Semitic goddess whose name meant 'the measurer, fate, or portion'. She was worshiped by the Nabataean peoples of Jordan and other early South Semitic and Arabian peoples. As a personification of fate, she was cognate with the West Semitic goddess Ashima, and both names appear in alternate verses in Ugaritic texts.
