Kunnawarra, meaning "black swan," is one of two women found or created by Balayang in Kulin mythology. Balayang discovered her stirring underneath mud that he had created by thumping the surface of water. She was given by Bunjil as a wife to the men he had created, serving as a marriage partner for the Eaglehawk moiety.
