Klu'skap is a central figure in Mi'kmaq tradition who received improved vision and spiritual perception from Netawansum during the sixth stage of creation. He summoned fish from the ocean, cooked them, and prepared meals. He traveled with his grandmother Nukumi and lived with his mother Níkanaptekewísqw and nephew/niece Netawansum before deciding to leave his mother and nephew/niece to travel north with his grandmother.
