Kalumba is the supreme god figure worshipped by the Luba people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He created the first man and woman, the Sun, and gave humanity the gifts of fire, iron, and reproduction. According to myth, he originally allowed humans to live in the heavens but banished them to Earth when they began fighting one another.
