Kʼat
deity sky Maya single tradition · 1
Kʼat is a daybearer in the Maya calendar system. Dennis Tedlock suggests that the net impression left by Xquic's sack on the ground is a reference to Kʼat and possibly to the emergence of Venus as a morning star, a sign that Xmucane as one of the original daykeepers was able to read.
