Inti Wawqi is the brother aspect of Inti, also spelled Inti-Guauqui or Inti-Huaoqui. He represents the sun god in his role as the founding father of Inca reign and the center of the state's official ancestor cult. Unlike Apu Inti and Churi Inti, he is not tied to a specific astronomical location such as a solstice.
