Ilian Athena is the aspect of the Greek goddess Athena worshipped at the ancient city of Troy. She is associated with war strategy, wisdom, and protection of heroes, particularly those involved in the Trojan War. In the account of Alexander III's campaign, he performed sacrifices to her seeking favor before his invasion of Asia.
