Houle fairies
Houle fairies are sociable supernatural beings from Brittany and Normandy who are easily visible at night but require clairvoyance to see during the day. They generously provide gifts such as never-diminishing bread, healing potions, magic wands, and enchanted items to humans who ask respectfully. They run schools where human children learn metamorphosis and to see invisible things, often become godmothers to unborn children, and treat adopted human children with great consideration.
