Friagabis

deity Germanic single tradition · 1

Friagabis is a Germanic goddess named on votive stones found in shrines along Hadrian's Wall. She appears together with Mars Thincsus, the Numen of Emperor Augustus, and the Alaisiagae goddesses Beda, Fimmelena, and Baudihille. The Germanic soldiers who served along Hadrian's Wall more than likely introduced the Alaisiagae to their Roman counterparts, thus spreading worship of these goddesses of victory, fertility and justice.
