First Father, also called One-Maize-revealed, is a cosmogonic deity in Maya mythology who set up three stones at a place called 'Lying-down-sky' to form the image of the sky. He entered the sky and made a house of eight partitions there, raised the Wakah-Chan (World Tree) so its crown stood in the north sky, and gave circular motion to the sky, setting the constellations into their dance through the night.
