Fearless Lion-like Guanyin, also known as Hayagriva Guanyin, is one of the six forms that Guanyin can take, each corresponding to a particular realm of samsara. This form corresponds to the animal realm. The grouping originates from the Mohe Zhiguan written by the Tiantai patriarch Zhiyi (538–597).
