Ḫegirnuna was a daughter of Bau and Ninĝirsu. She was referred to as one of Bau's seven daughters and Ninĝirsu's unruly children, as well as one of Ninĝirsu's beloved lukur-priestesses. Ḫegirnuna was already called ‘’the beloved lukur priestess of Ninĝirsu’’ in the inscriptions of Urukagina.
