Ebenga was a hairy but friendly being found in the forest by Mbokomu's daughter, whose name means 'the beginner'. After the daughter shaved his body he seemed human, but in fact he was a sorcerer who cast a spell on the woman. Ebenga's witchcraft brought evil to the world through the daughter's first child, and evil and witchcraft have never left since.
