Dormarch is a hound, normally used to assist hunters by tracking or chasing the animal that is being hunted. In Welsh mythology Dormarch's master is Gwynn ap Nudd although formerly owned by Maelgwn Gwynedd, a 6th-century king of Gwynedd.
