Dohkwibuhch is the creator deity of the Snohomish people of the Puget Sound, Washington. He began the creation of the world in the east, giving a new language to each group that he created, and when he reached the Puget Sound he decided to stop there because he liked the area. He made mistakes in creation, including making the sky too low so that tall people would strike their heads on it and people could enter the sky world by climbing trees, which displeased the people he created.
