Dashiye (大士爺) is a deity whose grand effigy is erected at Pek Kong Cheng in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia, during the Zhongyuan Festival. The golden-clad deity exudes an imposing and majestic presence. After the Pudu (Universal Salvation) ceremony is completed, the paper effigy of Dashiye is dismantled.
