Colossus

The Colossus was a monument, the actual location of which remains a matter of debate. It is thought locally to have stood where two pillars now stand at the Mandraki port entrance. Ursula Vedder postulates that the Colossus was part of the Acropolis of Rhodes, which stood on a hill that overlooks the port area.
