Camaxtli is a deity worshipped by the Tlaxcaltecs and Huexotzincas, identified as Xipe-Totec himself. According to Tlaxcala myth, Camaxtle begins a war against the Shires and defeats them, but the war lasts until 1 acatl when Camaxtle is defeated. After this failure, he meets Chimalma, a woman created by Yayauhqui Tezcatlipoca, and with her conceives five children, one of whom is Ce Acatl Topiltzin Quetzalcoatl who governs Tula.
